It's always a conflicting thing when a manga I'm reading ends. On the one hand I really like when something I'm reading actually has a conclusion and doesn't go on for an unreasonable amount of volumes so I have to spend a fortune on it, but on the other, it's good and I don't want it to end.
I just started this series a few months ago so I'm probably behind most everyone else. I'm on volume 10 at the moment. I'm hoping now that it will be over soon they'll give it the anime treatment. |

I could never get into this story for one reason...the hero and the heroine grated on my nerves. Still, I guess its sad for the fans.

Well, that's too bad. I've started reading the manga around two years ago when I saw it at my local bookstore and been keeping up with it since. Oh well, I hope the manga does end on a good note.

Volume 14's last chapter was titled "Final Arc: Chapter 1" in the English release, so I figured it was going to end fairly soon. Glad it's not being dragged out too long.

This series was far too misogynist for my tastes. I enjoyed reading Vampire Knight so I blindly bought a bunch of volumes of this, and I regret that decision to this day. Vampire Knight has its wallbanger moments, but Black Bird made me holler out loud. Sometimes multiple times per volume.
