Is the Hellsing manga finished in Japan?

I'm pretty sure it's at 6 volumes right now, but is it finished? I would really like them to start thinking about a sequel to the anime, and 6 volumes is too short for an awesome manga such as this.

WHAT?!?!?!?! WHEN DID VOLUME 7 COME OUT?!?!?!?!


*runs to the local store that sells imported manga*





EDIT: upon some research i have discovered that the news of volume 7 being out is a complete and total lie. there is no metion of it anywhere on the internet that google could find.

From what I can understand the matterial for volume 7 is finished, and that it will soon be collected in TPB form.
