Taking advantage of Dark Horse and Viz being on sale together:

Bakuman 10
Cross Game 6-7
Tenjou Tenge 6
Vampire Hunter D Novel 4-17

Had a tough decision between getting VHD or Gunsmith Cats & Hellsing. Ended up settling on wanting to support light novels more. Once again, it'll be fun to see what actually arrives out of the VHD order since it's all backlisted.

While buying a couple pieces of electronics from Amazon I realized I still hadn't bought Cross Game 7... so I did that. My Love Hina Omnibus 3 should be arriving in a week or two too. The actual release date is the 24th, but it's not like they never ship early.

Well, upon seeing that price Amazon had up for the Squid Girl BD, I couldn't very well NOT pick it up, now could I? So I did, also largely because it seems like RightStuf rarely has a Media Blasters sale.

I didn't plan on buying anything today but, I went to bestbuy with my brother and found the Supernatural anime series on bluray for 18.99 and couldn't pass it up for that price.

Payday Friday order:

The Gokusne: Complete Collection.

Total blind buy here but CR has it on sale for 8.99 so I though why not.

My first manga purchase! I'm a big anime fan but don't read manga that much. When I was in Half Price Books they had all 25 volumes of the GTO manga in plastic wrapped sets of 5 volumes. I loved the GTO anime so I'm sure the manga is good to. And if I'm going to pick it up, why not all at once? It was a great deal, $50 for the whole thing.

Damn, that's a hell of a deal! GTO was already pretty well OOP before Tokyopop went down, and even now around half of the full run is hard to find, so you definitely scored. It's a great manga, so I hope you enjoy it.

Funny how getting free stuff sometimes means you end up getting a purchase you weren't planning on.

Scored a free copy of My Bride is a Mermaid Part 1, from a fellow ANN subscriber (membership has its privileges) but that meant I needed Part 2. Luckily TRSI was selling their remaining stock of pt.2 at close-out prices, so I went oveto grab it. Bu what am I supposed to only get one thing? Yeah right. I love close-out prices too much. Everything at more than 66% off, everything had a counter....

My Bride is a Mermaid
Season Part 2
Bamboo Blade DVD Complete Series
Nerima Daikon Brothers DVD Complete Collection
Ramen Fighter Miki DVD Bargain Bundle

Thanks! From what I'm seeing online, the anime followed the manga almost exactly but only adapted about half of the manga. I'm pretty excited for more Onizuka antics! Very Happy

The Gokusen DVD Box set with women's windbreaker from Crunchyroll's daily deal.

Had the series on my Netflix queue for a while, but figured I'd milk the deal since it's the cheapest prize available online right now for the set thanks to my premium membership.

Now to figure out what I would do with a women's windbreaker. Laughing

I bought that set many years ago, and to this date I have no idea where the hell my windbreaker went. Yes, I know for sure I bought the limited set that had it, and I know at some point I had it in my hands, but to this date I have no idea where it went. Probably is still hiding at the last place I used to live.

My order finally arrived last Tuesday. I bought volume 2 of
Princess Tutu, volume one of Narutaru, and a couple of videogames
(Romance of The Three Kingdoms and a cool demo disk) from
Amazon.com. I am really satisfied with my order.
