i would say I hope he wins but i dont know who else is "competing" and what their movies are, so i hope the best person wins

You should have followed the link. The other nominees are editors/publishers. Apples and pears. Probably nominated for the script. |

Yeah, the "Special Award" categories are miscellaneous-- they're for anything the judges want to recognize that doesn't fit in any of the other categories. So since there's no film, editor, or publisher category, everyone falls in there together. I'm sure they meant it for all aspects of the film. |
