What are your resolutions for 2003?
Me?
Stop making bad investments. I spent a good amount of money on really bad stuff (namely CD's, DVD's, Video Games). Basically being more cautious with my money.
Also, Get ground effects for my car

I found the irony of that rationale very humorous.

This year, I resolve to maintain the classical integrity of my writing style, and thumb my nose at every new age half-wit that says I'm too flowery, romantic, and wordy to connect with today's youth.
Hmph. It's not like I'm trying. I write as I see fit, in a fashion that captures the mood and atmosphere of my stories. When my novella series "Averted Destiny" is complete and a best seller, we'll see who's too wordy.

Trunkschan, That was my New Years resolution last year (and I did it, from 216 in January to 172 currently). My best advice is to start out slow. Do some walking, exercise bike or even better, an ellipitical. then after 5 to 6 months, start running. That's what I did.
Hope that helps, and good luck!

First i wanna say Hi to everyone. I am new here, and as for resolutions. I think main ones would be learn to read and write japanese, keep up with martial arts, and most importantly: to get more anime.

My resolution is to solve world hunger and save dying children in Africa or to stab seven hobos. Whatever happens first...

New year resolutions? Allrighty then...
The only non-anime related resolution I have: I will make few futile attempts to learn to code in C++, only to find out that this resolution will prove as empty as last time I made it.
And for those resolutions that are related to anime and might actually come true:
Resolution #1: This year I promise to cause anime addiction to at least 5 people previously oblivious to anime.
Resolution #2: I will purchase a data projector... that, and find large enough room to put that projector into use.
Resolution #3: My DVD collection shall expand, and will remain strictly anime only.
Resolution #4: I will learn to draw manga style characters, and instead of throwing my creations to trashcan outright (like this far), I will actually try to get some of them finished.

my goal is to stop spending my money on little things (dvd's, manga) and buy a ps2, or else just put the money aside to buy a car at some point... can't drive now, but will eventually

whenever i buy chinese food to go, i will remember to get either chopsticks, a fork, a knife, a spoon, or some other kind of food-eating implement, so that I am not stuck eating steamed rice with pencils. again.
