Bakabon is one of my favorite manga series, and one of the most popular in Japan. (seriously, they're the mascot for a storage shed company and stuff...I also have a t-shirt of them ) I have a hard time getting other people to read it though, since it is not an otaku series at all. It's really hilarious though! It's basically about a really dumb kid, his dumber dad, his average mom and his genius baby brother. Kind of like a proto-simpsons.

If anyone wants to read it, there's 5 bilingual volumes published, and 1 bilingual volume of Akko-chan's got a secret. They are out of print unfortunately. I bet the documentary will be fascinating. Smile
