Actually, the term jumbo jet refers specifically to the 747 class of aircraft.
Also, this item really caught me off-guard at first, because I initially read it as "ANN Jumbo Jet". 
Add: Never mind, informally the term seems to have broader use referring to widebody aircraft in general. 747 will still be the only jumbo jet to me though... *mutters*... Anyway, I think what would be really cool is an aircraft with an Exia paint job. If they could figure out some way to paint the 00 Riser along the wings, and the GN drives on the engines... |

Looking forward to my flight in August.
I'm guessing the chances of my flight from Nagoya to Sapporo being serviced by that plane on that specific date are fairly slim, but I will try to get a hold of one of those models, provided I don't have to take out a second mortgage on my apartment to afford it! |

You may wanna correct that article to say "pictured on the left" or, move the picture to the "right" since it's not there

Although you appear to have corrected yourself. Jumbo jet can refer to a 767, 747, 777, 787, A340, and A380, and probably some that I am leaving out. Edit: Forgot the L1011, still some of those flying around. For fun [3] [not a jumbo]. |

There are still some DC-10's and MD-11's flying around too. The "Jumbo" designation can also be applied to the C5 Galaxy and AN-124 cargo planes. The A380 is more commonly refered to as a "Super Jumbo" because it's soo big. "Super Jumbo" could also be applied to the AN-225, the largest airplane in the world. |

Worth noting in the article: One of ANA's better known stunts was giving four planes Pokemon paint jobs, which IIRC they still have.
