Does she sing? If so, than can you give me some examples of the songs that she sings? And is it her singing "Green Bird" from Cowboy Bebop soundtrack (It's from the episode "Ballad of the Fallen Angels)?
P.S. I already know about the whole Gabriela Robin = Yoko Kanno theory.

...answering questions at 3am...you owe me, Proman. ;p
Since you alrady know Gabriela Robin is Yoko Kanno (don't pay attention to her denials), it'd be easy to run a Google search to find all of her songs. Off the top of my head she sang "Cats on Mars" from Bebop and "Diving" from Arjuna, but there are many, many more. In fact, most of Kanno's soundtracks include songs from that mysterious Robin gal.
And yes, "Green Bird" is one, too.

It's sort of like David Lucas and Steve Blum, though Mr. Blum has stopped using his non-union alias recently.

Back to the River (original vocal version)
Macross Plus:
After, in the Dark ~ Torch Song
Santi-U
Please Save My Earth:
Ring
Escaflowne:
Medicine Eater (although it's more like whispering than singing)
Cat's Delicacy

*Is too tiiired to remember all of Yoko Kanno/Gabriela Robin's songs right now--otherwise could name them all from memory*
Cycle from Wolf's Rain OST 2 is another one.
*Falls asleep on the keyboard*
