hey guys i just came back from being banned for one reason which i take responsibility and for another in which i dont feal i deserved, well lets not get into that but have you realized how there are some anime series that are better off short, and some better of long, and some that should never end. for example, wolfs rain is anime series that should stay short , its fine the way it is. Inuyasha is an anime series which should be long, and naruto is an anime series which should never end.lol
what do you think?

Honestly, I think they should have shortened Inuyasha a lot more, then it all would be out and we'd know the final ending! I know that Kenshin is perfect the way it is, and so is Trigun. Cowboy Bebop, though, could be a lot longer. That would definitely have made a lot of people happy, I'm sure.

It really depends on the world these characters are in and what they're part is in it. Trigun actually could have gone on for another season easily (atleast 13 eps), but they jumped the gun and didn't wait for the manga to end. Hellsing didn't really need to go on for as long as it did (Incognito?). Wolf's Rain didn't need to have OAVs, but problems during production forced them into doing several recaps instead of stories, too bad because the OAVs sounded like a cheap ending (spoiler[Everybody dies? Sounds like they did that just so they wouldn't have to bother with it any more]). Inu Yasha works well as a long series because their world is huge and their role's are extensive, they can continue to add stronger and stronger deamons to the show and never run out, as long as the stories remain interesting it'll servive. Same goes for One Piece, there are always more and more pirates out there to fight. Cowboy Bebop ended perfectly, there just wasn't anywhere else to go unless you wanted filler (it was already full of that), Spike handled all of his tasks, there was a clear ending (no mater what the blind hopefulls think) and they even gave us a movie in hopes to get people to shut up about the series being dead. Naruto is another series that can easily go on forever, there will always be new hidden ninja to fight, new jutsu to learn, and new rivals to face.

So far they've been doing pretty good with the size of their shows. The extremely long shows are that long because they're surviving at that size. *Some* people don't like long series, but there's more than enough people out there that do to keep these shows running. Some people beg for new eps of shorter shows that just don't need to be, that's just being greedy and selfish, especially when there's a clear cut ending and can'd admit that (Cowboy Bebop).

Does it really matter? The characters really aren't anything without Spike, building a story around the sidekicks would be meaningless. Thankfully those involved haven't gone that route of making Cowboy Bebop into a huge cash cow by exploiting every little thing they could like some people want. The series is dead and over folks, time to move on.

I think a series like Inu Yasha should be cut down. Why ? just to many filler episodes. i don't know one series over 52 episodes that never had a lot of fillers except maybe Gundam series since it's kind of hard to have comedy in ones like wing.

I think Inu-Yasha should end after the manga ends unlike the last RT adapation. I just hope that romur isn't true that Inu-Yasha is going to end soon.

The rumor was false. It also said that it would be replaced by the new Gundam Seed series, but now we know it's Fullmetal Alchemist that's being replaced by Seed.

You agreed it was a bad idea when you agreed with me. I already explained why it's a bad idea.
