Okay, fans, time to spill your viewing habits. With that, I've some questions for you. If nothing else, at least it's a new topic, right?
What's the one series you've watched the most?
For me, Cowboy Bebop, as I've seen all 26 episodes more than 20 times on DVD and TV combined. Even to this day, if I see it playing, I stop changing channels. It's the one series that has the ability to stop my thumb from controlling the remote despite the many views beforehand.
Runners-up?
Kanon, currently on its 6th viewing. The supernatural elements of this series keeps me entertained, despite knowing what's going to happen. Every time I watch this series, I find something new.
Aria - 5 viewings and scheduled for a 6th when season 3 is released in two weeks. People seem shocked when I say I marathon this series, but I can't understand why. It's so damn good, it's my favorite. Since it takes me about 3 days to watch them all, I'll be scheduling some time on the anticipated delivery date when TRSI finally ships it.
Shakugan no Shana - 4 times, I think. It may be 5. I lost count. Regardless, it's about to get another viewing within the next 30 days. Love this show. Love Wirhelmina. She's awesome.
Spice & Wolf, Ramen Fighter Miki - 3 each. Now what's interesting about these two series is they're the most recent additions to my collection. Despite having other unwatched series, I've already re-watched them more than twice. Which brings me to my next question...
Do you re-watch a series despite having unwatched series sitting around?
Yep. I think I have about 6 or 7 unwatched, but it's not as though they're going anywhere.
Would you ever lend out a series you've watched many times, knowing there's a chance you'll lose it/receive it back damaged/etc.?
There's a rule in my house: touch my anime and you die. Thus, no lending issues to worry about.
Are there series others you know have re-watched but you don't understand why?
Well, not yet. We'll see what other posters have to say first.
What's the *one* anime series you'll never watch again?
Despite my hatred for Suzuka, I can see myself watching it again months from now. I'd say, in my collection currently, it would have to be... crap, I'm a sucker. None. I'd watch them all again, including Divergence Eve. *sigh* I'm pathetic that I can't even have an anime to hate beyond hate. Sorry.

What's the one series you've watched the most?
For tv series I haven't done too much re-watching. I watched Paranoia Agent twice--once by myself and once with a friend. And I'm most of the way through a second viewing of Fullmetal Alchemst (again, once with myself, once with friends). Movies, on the other hand, are much easier to be re-watched. I've seen Spirited Away a hellalot of times. Same with Howl's Moving Castle. That doesn't mean I'm opposed to re-watching series... I'm looking forward to (someday) re-watching Azumanga Diaoh, for example. However, generally, I'm much more interested in seeing something new and great.
Do you re-watch a series despite having unwatched series sitting around?
I touched on this a bit in the prior question, but I'll expand on it slightly. It is easy for me to re-watch a movie with other unwatched series laying around--the time commitment isn't all that big. However, I have a LOT of unwatched series on my shelves and I feel a bit weird about picking up (for an example) Azumanga Daioh again, when I know I want to (and need to) watch Ghost in the Shell (first series) and a hundred other series.
Would you ever lend out a series you've watched many times, knowing there's a chance you'll lose it/receive it back damaged/etc.?
I would consider lending to friends--however, more likely I'd want to watch the series WITH the friend... that way I can both be a friend AND keep the DVDs in my possession. Not that I have many friends who are both into anime AND have free time...
What's the *one* anime series you'll never watch again?
There are at least several that I have no desire to re-watch. Most obvious is Avengers, which I picked up when it was $20 for the whole series at a time when whole series for less than $40 was an anomaly. What a horrid show. Bottle Fairy is another one I have no plans on touching again--just the most pointless tripe ever for anyone over the age of 8. I got it to work at completing my Geneon collection, but there is no compelling reason other than that to see it. No series I own is as hated as Neon Genesis Evangelion, but that is such a landmark anime series that I could see myself watching it again either in the hopes of "figuring it out" or to write a critical response in hopes of destorying its fanbase. I am much more apt to re-watch a movie I really hate (Akira or Steamboy, for example), simply because (again) the time commitment is so much lower.
It should also be noted that I only watch one series at a time... I find it is the only way I finish series. So it is much harder to dedicate a week+ to watching something I've already seen than it is to dedicate that same amount of time to something new.

Wow, PJ, you are a serial repeater. And this thread is so not for me in that - as of yet - I have never re-watched in its entirety any series that I have already watched once. Mostly that is because I have a self-imposed rule that I can't re-watch any of the anime I have on DVD until I conquer my current unwatched backlog (which, right now, stands at 63 unwatched series).
I could easily rewatch both Black Lagoon series if I relaxed my backlog rule. I'm currently reading the manga and it's got me jonesing to see the shy, demure, girly, loving Revy again, heh-heh-heh.
I did re-watch the first six episodes of Kimi ni Todoke and the first episode of Toradora!

I've watched Slayers (Try), Azu Dai and Dragon Half more times than I can count. If I had the Original Tenchi OVA I'd watch that to death. Sailormoon I've seen more times than I can count. That's it.
I've rewatched K-on a couple times.

You really need to work those backlogs. Though, I'm curious about something when you say you have your rule. You seem to watch newer series released, like Eva no Jikan, but didn't this series come out after some purchases you've made?
Tsk. tsk.
As for the serial repeater, you betcha! Though, it's more like a kid in a candy store, since I only started buying DVDs in mass last year. So, gummy bears get a little more attention than sour grapes.
No regrets at all, well, unless I include the number of times my wife nags me over the "irritating character voices" she complains about. I'll take years of Monical Rial voicing Hazuki (Moonphase) over 10 seconds of Glen Beck any day.

What's the one series you've watched the most?
That would be Super Dimension Fortress Macross. It's my gateway anime, so I tend to watch it every couple of years or so. My most recent viewing of the series was the past year, as I've been actually watching the show on the dates that the episodes supposedly take place since the bulk of the series takes place in 2009-2010.
Runners-up?
Maison Ikkoku It's one of my favorite shows that I just have to watch again and again.
Space Battleship Yamato Since this is one of the first anime shows I remember watching (in its Star Blazers form)as a kid, watching it brings back fond memories.
Cowboy Bebop mainly because it always seems to be on at one time or another.
Would you ever lend out a series you've watched many times, knowing there's a chance you'll lose it/receive it back damaged/etc.?
Yes, since I only lend my anime to close friends that I trust. We lend each other anime all the time and there hasn't been a single one of us that's lost or returned it damaged.
Are there series others you know have re-watched but you don't understand why?
Can't say that there is.
What's the *one* anime series you'll never watch again?
Sailor Moon I only watched it because the girl I was seeing at the time was a huge fan and made me watch the entire series.

My "no re-watch" rule only applies to DVDs that I own. I also stream series. I have no rule about watching series that way even while I still have a DVD backlog.

I'm generally not much of a re-watcher. I've seen Trigun 4 times though. I guess that isn't that impressive. I'll certainly re-watch even if I have new series waiting but then, I always have new series waiting.

What's the one series you've watched the most?
It's a tie between Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu and The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya at 6 times each. I have a saying that goes as follows: Great comedy never gets old, that's why it's great. For the longest time (before I watched School Rumble) Fumoffu was hands down the funniest show, anime or not, I ever saw. This is also 6 complete watches; I'm not including the dozens of times I've picked out a few episodes to watch. Haruhi, on the other hand, is just plain old fun to watch and the fact that I can watch it 3-4 different ways helps give it huge rewatch value.
Runners-up?
Azumanga Daioh, 3 times. This is under the same "great comedy never gets old, that's why it's great" category, but it has less rewatches because 1) it's not nearly as funny as Fumoffu and 2) I'm waiting to own it on DVD before I rewatch it again. After I do own it, though, I'm sure the rewatches will increase.
The Slayers Movies and OVA's, a combined 16 times. I decided to add all my rewatches of the Movies and OVA's together since there are so many of them and I've seen them all (except Premium) several times. Again, great comedy never gets old.
Full Metal Panic and TSR, 2 times. I rewatched them both as soon as I got the DVDs because I think this show is fabulous. Really good comedy and drama and has surprisingly good rewatch value. I'll definitely watch these a couple more times down the road.
Girls Bravo, 2 times. Admittedly, the only reason I watched this a second time was because I finished my collection and it's pretty rare and wanted to bask in it. It's not great by any definition of the word, but it's good, dirty fun.
Kanon, 2 times. I know this may surprise some, but I can only watch a drama so many times, no matter how much I love the show. Also, since dramas can wear thin after a while, I don't want to burnout on the show. I will probably be rewatching it soon, though, because I have to watch it in singles form (once fansubbed, once through the Funi boxset).
Shakugan 1 and 2, 2 times. Whenever I watch a show fansubbed and later find out theres a dub, I have to watch it again dubbed; it's the huge dub fan in me. Obviously I didn't watch the 2nd dubbed, but when I rewatched the first season after buying the boxset last year (my first ever purchase) I had to watch the 2nd season for completion sake. It's actually the only fansubs I keep, but I'll probably never watch it again (the second season, that is) for that reason.
Shuffle!, 2 times. Again, I watched it fansubbed a long time ago and then bought it and rewatched it dubbed. I also absolutely love the show even though I'm one of, like, 3 people who does. It'll definitely get more rewatches eventually.
Gurren Lagann, 2 times. This is actually more of a "I love the f*cking sh*t out this show and don't any other reason to rewatch it" type of deal, but it's also because I recently finished collecting and wanted to watch it dubbed.
Voices of a Distant Star, 2 times. I was actually supposed to rewatch this dubbed after I bought it, but, well, if Cynthia Martinez isn't doing Lina Inverse, I'm not a huge fan of hers. It's also 30 minutes of great drama that can't really run thin because it's so short and sweet. Despite being a drama it'll get a lot of rewatches.
Futari Ecchi, 2 times. This was the funniest show ever until I watched Fumoffu?. I was a virgin once and I can completely relate with the hilarious mishaps of Makoto; although I was 16 and not 25, but it's still a very relatable situation because everyone loses their virginity once. The reason it doesn't have more is because it's sub-only and I don't really like watching a show a twice subbed (VOD being the only exception thus far). I watched it the first time fansubbed, but watched the second time through DVDs with my dad and laughed twice as hard. This is a show that needs to be watched with others (who aren't virgins) to truly get the best out of it.
Kare Kano, 2 times. I actually never rewatched the final volume because there's a certain point where I feel it goes downhill, but I still want to count this one. One of the few shows where I use just one to describe it- Beautiful being that one word. I will always believe it's a shame that this show will never be remade with a proper, or at least decent, ending.
Do you re-watch a series despite having unwatched series sitting around?
Oh yea. I don't like telling myself I have to watch something. I did that when I first started out watching anime (I had a schedule and everything), but now that I just go with it, it's a lot more fun. Blood- should probably adopt this policy over his current one which seems like a pain in the butt considering the size of his backlog.
Would you ever lend out a series you've watched many times, knowing there's a chance you'll lose it/receive it back damaged/etc.?
I don't really know people to lend my stuff to, but the answer would be no since I collect mostly limited editions, which are expensive.
Are there series others you know have re-watched but you don't understand why?
The people who rewatch Sailor Moon and DBZ several times. They're both great shows, but they're also really long. I'll probably rewatch Sailor Moon a couple times, but it'll be over a very extended period of time; many years in between each. I'll probably never rewatch DBZ and that's why I haven't bought it yet, if I do at all. So yeah, people who rewatch really long shows: What's up with that?
What's the *one* anime series you'll never watch again?
I believe all shows have rewatch value and will eventually rewatch them all......except 5 centimeters per second. Don't get me wrong, I love the hell out this movie and think it's Shinkai's best work, but it's way too depressing for me to watch it again. I've cried after watching shows several times before, but I straight BAWLED after I watched 5cm/s. I'm talking 10 minutes after I watched it I was still rubbing snot and tears off my face and trying to get my heart to slow down before it exploded. I get watery eyes just thinking about it (yes, even as I type this). Now, I did originally watch this fansubbed with never hearing the dub and have it on my shelf in my collection. My situation tells me to never say never, but I think I'll be able to resist.
I'm going to add my own category if you don't mind, PJ.
Shows you want to rewatch, but haven't?
While I do believe all shows have rewatch value, some obviously have more than others. I also have a need to rewatch shows dubbed if seen previously fansubbed, as I've mentioned several times already, and those shows have higher priority than any other. Shows I still have yet to rewatch due to not yet purchasing, but will be immediate rewatches include: Kaze no Stigma, Bamboo Blade and Ikki Tousen Dragon Destiny.
Then there are shows that I'll watch to death, but haven't because I haven't completed the sets even though I watched them dubbed legally via streaming sites. Those include:
Ouran Host Club and School Rumble: These two shows are absolutely hilarious and I don't think I'd be able to die a happy life without seeing both of these at least 100 times.
Ah My Goddess: I don't think this show is great, but it has such a homey feel to it and makes me feel like a good person whenever I even think about it. It'll probably be something I schedule to watch once a year.
Slayers: The ONLY reason this doesn't have a million rewatches is because I'm waiting for Revolution and Evolution-R to come out. Once they do come out, you probably won't hear from me for about a week.

What's the one series you've watched the most?
Negima!?
Coming in with 8 re-watches, yes 8 re-watches, I just like this copy of Negima a lot.
Runners-up?
[EDIT: List Removed ~Zalis]
Do you re-watch a series despite having unwatched series sitting around?
Yes, I re-watch things when I'm sick, rather then starting something new, then end up forgetting something happening due to me being sick. (So many times where I just forget I start something new this way)
Would you ever lend out a series you've watched many times, knowing there's a chance you'll lose it/receive it back damaged/etc.?
I only lend my friends my DVDs, and yes my Ouran disk jackets got ruined this way. Along with some other DVDs cases getting ruined.
Are there series others you know have re-watched but you don't understand why?
I think Ouran fits this, I mean I have no idea why I re-watch it again and again.
What's the *one* anime series you'll never watch again?
This is really open for me right now, if I'm going to have to put something it will have to be anything that played on Adult Swim.

What's the one series you've watched the most?
Cowboy Bebop, but "more than 20 times" is putting it mildly. Between television and DVD watching, I've seen it over forty times easily. I've only watched it once a year for a while, though, in October (so I can watch the movie on Halloween!). But at some point I was watching it around once a month!
Runners-up?
Bubblegum Crisis - Around fourteen times. Love that 80s action.
Big O - About ten times. It's always time for showtime.
Neon Genesis Evangelion - About seven times. A couple of times before I got it.
Do you re-watch a series despite having unwatched series sitting around?
New anime takes precedence if I have it in physical media. If it's just new stuff I'm watching subbed or streaming, I fit it in when I'm not rewatching my collection. If I have a new boxset, I'm watching it immediately.
Are there series others you know have re-watched but you don't understand why?
I can't think of any, but to each their own, I guess.
What's the *one* anime series you'll never watch again?
Probably the third Tenchi Muyo OVA. That one enrages me just thinking about it existing. I'd give Gundam Seed Destiny another watch before that.

What's the one series you've watched the most?
The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya – I would have to guesstimate; I have watched the entire series around fifteen times. If I was just to consider the Melancholy arc, the number would be closer to forty.
Runners-up?
Serial Experiments Lain – My one true anime masterpiece, which I can find no fault in. I think I have watched Lain eight times already and will watch it probably a hundred times more over my life.
Do you re-watch a series despite having unwatched series sitting around?
I never blind buy anymore so I wouldn’t have an unwatched series hanging around my apartment, unless it is a rental from Netflix. Even then, the rental is top priority over a previously viewed series.
Would you ever lend out a series you've watched many times, knowing there's a chance you'll lose it/receive it back damaged/etc.?
I am very selective in the series I purchase; currently I own ten anime series and have been watching anime for five years. Unless you are planning to take my anime from my cold dead grasp those select few series will never leave my shelf.
Are there series others you know have re-watched but you don't understand why?
Nope. Everyone has a different opinion of what they consider re-watchable.
What's the *one* anime series you'll never watch again?
Final Fantasy Unlimited – My first and only blind buy of a series and it was the worst piece of god awful crap that I have ever seen.

Not at all.
Shows you want to rewatch, but haven't?
Ooh, I've a bunch under this one.
Kaleido Star - Sora's energy was fun to watch and, as predictable as it can be, it's definitely worth another viewing or 100.
Nuku Nuku Dash - Just because I want to "recompare" it again to the original.
Best Student Council - I've vague memories of this being a subpar series, but Pouchan was funny.
Gad Guard - the style elements of this series were very pleasing, but just really haven't had the time to throw its 26 episode into the mix. It'll come, eventually.
Polyphonica - I just saw this a couple of weeks ago, so its cycle isn't ready yet. But when it is...
Magic Knight Rayearth - This was a fun show and I'm rather disappointed I haven't rewatched it yet. Again, with 50+ episodes, it just needs to be cycled. I'm thinking this one may be done in April, if not earlier.
Shuffle! - Asa, nuff said.
Solty Rei - I found myself enjoying this series quite a bit, and truthfully, I want to forget some elements before I rewatch just so I can be thrilled all over again. Though, that may be difficult to do.
Wandaba Style - Originally, I felt this series blew chunks. So, to be fair, I'll need to rewatch it to see if it was as bad as I originally thought.
I should point out there have been other series I re-watched as well, but didn't list. Like Haruhi, which I believe is 7 times. The introduction scene alone probably received 50 watches (rewind buttons are awesome).
EDIT: Going through my anime list, there are many more which need to be rewatched.
But I did find a series I'll never watch again and that's Comic Party Revolution. I gave this series another chance a while ago, and it still stunk. Badly. Don't buy it, rent it, or even stream it. At least the predecessor was somewhat enjoyable. This has no excuse for its lameness.

What's the one series you've watched the most?
Good Question...Seeing as I don't own an ass-ton of anime, I would have to say FLCL *sigh* When I had this and first went off to college, every-freaking-time a person would come over they would want to watch FLCL. Didn't matter if they were casual anime fans or hardcore, it was the choice of them all. I must have sat and watched that damn show more than 20 times over the last 3 years. And while it isn't long, blitz watching it is still almost three hours of my life all at once, when I much rather would have been playing video games or something. Oh the gracious hostess I am . I still like it, but unless I want to watch it...I hope I don't have to ever see it again.
Though I do have the soundtrack on my mp3.
Runners-up?
YuYu Hakusho I watched this as it aired on Cartoon Network/Toonami, I downloaded the entire series and watched it a few times years ago, and now I am slowly getting the DVD's. My earliest and longest lasting fav's are all shonen, which I think must be nostalgia..
Ouran High School Host Club Gosh I Love this series, it fills me with joy and I actually would rather watch it again and again then re-read the manga, which is really rare for me. I watch it by ritual every few months, and that time is actually coming up soon.
Card Captor Sakura How can I not rewatch this? How? It is the epitome of what I wanted out of life from when I was 10+. I have no explanation other than it is awesome.
Paradise Kiss This was one of the first Box sets I bought, and...I cherish it. Watched it for a week solid after I got it while doing projects. Just wonderful.
Antique Bakery Have this stored in my comp and am waiting for the box set. Waiting waiting waiting, and watching it once every two weeks or so.
Yakitate!! Japan This series is so long I don't know how I manage to watch it as often as I have. Love for Bread? Azuma? Pierrot? Who knows!
EDIT: Vampire Hunter D, Bloodlust Gotta tack this on, I'd add the first as well, but I'll let this one represent my love, as it is...prettier.
Throw in my constant watching of Howl's Moving Castle (Shut up, Howl is Pretty!) Totoro, Porco Rosso, and The Cat Returns and that should about cover it.
Do you re-watch a series despite having unwatched series sitting around?
Nope, I never have a backlog. Ever.
Would you ever lend out a series you've watched many times, knowing there's a chance you'll lose it/receive it back damaged/etc.?
Not on your life. Besides, my collection is small and comfy and they can go get their own damn stuff.
Are there series others you know have re-watched but you don't understand why?
Actually...no. What I watch I watch cause I love it or want to see what it is, so....Yeah. Man that was a boring answer.
What's the *one* anime series you'll never watch again?
Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha . *shudder*

You're the exact kind of person I was talking about! Watching a 70+ episode show once is usually enough to fill me and rarely will I want to venture there again. You werido.
