The DVD makes for a nice collector's item, but its contents aren't that great. The video quality left a lot to be desired; I was hoping for a remake of the melody... PV in DVD resolution, but the DVD version of the video seemed to be just a cleaner rendering of the original at the original resolution and uses the newer CD version of the song. For that particular PV, the audio sounded noticeably worse than the CD version.
The limited editions came with a code you could enter on a website that would allow you to see the extra footage, but this expires at the end of May, if I remember correctly. |

Yaay those seem like awesome items for devoted Miku fans like me. I really want to pick those up. I'm glad her popularity is still so big, I <3 Hatsune Miku!

Maybe NIS would be interested in adapting domestic releases of those DVDs given they are already experienced in the software and game market.

You *can* just order them from Amazon Japan and have them shipped to the US. It's a bit on the expensive side since there's around $20 or more of shipping involved, but if you really wanted it, you can buy it. Besides, the video quality wasn't that great, and you could probably find comparable versions of the videos on Nico Nico Douga. |
