More serious Tezuka manga is always a good thing.

Wow, a helluva risk there, considering it focuses a bit more on Japanese politics than other manga. But I'm willing to give it a shot if Vertical gives me some sample pages again. I just hope Amazon comes down on its price soon.

So my previous prediction was right. Awesome. Ayako is one of Tezuka's more disturbing and mature works, and I am glad to see it being published here.

True true.
In truth though, I was kind of hoping for Alabaster. But Ayako is just as swanky.

yup. Actually, I like Tezuka's more childish works such as Kimba an W3. The English publishers are focused mostly on his serious works though. But at this rate they are being translated, we will not run out of 'new' Tezuka stuff for a long, long time...

This looks really interesting. I've been in the mood for some more serious manga recently. Too bad the release date is so far in the future. I will probably check it out as long as I remember to look for it then.
