Yay for adding more shows and episodes to Youtube.
You guys didn't give Ragnarok its own line. |

Great! Just wish a. their site weren't down, and b. my internet was fast enough so I could watch this stuff. But the site-being-down part will probably be fixed in a few minutes, and my internet is really just my problem...

Why is it news anytime Funimation updates their player, even if it's just adding new episodes of exsisting series, yet it's not news when Sentai, Nozomi, Media Blasters or Bandai add actual new shows online?
If ANN is going to try to pass themselves off as a news site, they could at least try to be impartial. I realize that Funi is a primary sponsor of their website, but using the actual news section as promotion for them screams of impartiality and unprofessionalism. |

In this Funimation update, several of the series are new. If the update was just for more episodes of existing series, it would not have merited a news article. ANN actually does post when other companies stream new series, or even just trailers, online: Anime Network Streams GetBackers, Pet Shop of Horrors Right Stuf Streams Toward the Terra Movie Trailer Anime News Network Streams Kite: Liberator Bandai Entertainment Streams Code Geass on YouTube Funimation does stream more new anime online than the other companies, but it is not the only one to stream or to get coverage for it. |

Actually, you just proved my point. Sentai updates their offerings on Anime Network just as often as Funimation, yet their updates are ignored. The latest one you could find for them was covered several months ago. But there have been several extensive updates since then, and most have included brand new shows. Also, half those updates you included were for titles or trailers that were streaming on ANN. I would expect them to include news updates for those. But my point was that the majority of Non-Funimation streaming gets mostly ignored. I don't remember seeing any news when Ghost Hound, Clannad, He Is My Master, Special A, etc, started streaming. There are other regularly updated streaming sites besides ANN and Funimation, and ones that work much better. |

Cool. I'm glad they are adding new stuff. I just wish they'd get their old stuff. Like Captain Harlock. Episodes have been down for a month.

I'm enjoying Sgt. Frog, I do consider it a rental only though. There are many laugh out loud jokes but most of the time it's just amusing/cute. Does the dub get funnier in the 2nd box set?

LOL.. you're still completely missing the point. These were only a small portion of the updates that Anime Network has made recently. But since they actually included the most recent updates to TAN's online player for a change, I guess I will quell my rage for now. |

It is reasonable to not see a point, if that point was made with a demonstrably false statement. Please see the boldfaced text. |
