Actually, YTV has been airing new episodes of Dinosaur King, as well. They are currently airing the sequel TV series.
To think that it was only some years ago that Canadians had a large variety of anime to choose from for kids and teens, with YTV in the midst of it.
I can also finally say that I watched through the entire filler arc of Naruto, and didn't hate it.

While, sure we get the final episode, yes.
But YTV hasn't said anything about what will happen after the new year...I mean with Shippuden.
I could see repeats until the new year, sure.
But what about January 8th, after the Christmas break.
We don't even know if they picked it up.

i wouldn't get my hopes up to see shippuden on ytv anytime soon.
first, look at naruto's timeslot.
second, look what they did to bleach. we used to be 6 days behind the us broadcast of new episodes, now we're what? 100 episodes behind because they keep restarting it?
no, i'm not expecting to see shippuden on canadian television for a long long time. and if i'm wrong, i get to be pleasantly surprised.

YTV has basically given up on Anime. It's really sad, actually. They've replaced it with old sitcoms and crappy Nickelodeon tween shows. YTV used to have a lot of mature shows, but now it's solely for anyone under the age of 13.

This article should probably point out that Canadians can no longer view episodes of Shippuden through Naruto.com, now that Viz has made the appallingly moronic decision of going Hulu.com exclusive.

well we can still watch on crunchyroll, unless that's the dub you're talking about.

not to mentioned broadcating the dub version to disney xd. those two god forsaken decisisons are going to bite them in the butt and it'll happen in spades. Especially later in the series when the epsidoes get a lot more darker. That I guarantee.
