Hell Yeah!!!!!! Tales of Symphonia Anime part 2!! I have been waiting on this!
(Edit) Oh God I just watched the Trailer. I have tears in my eyes! I know everything thats gonna happen because I beat the game like 5 times. Someone needs to License this and get the Original voice cast. That would please me. I hope after this they make an OVA for Dawn of the New world. Tales of Symphonia is the best Tales game of all!! If you haven't played it GO!!!!!!!!! NOW!!!!! or watch the 4 OVA's thats already out...... The Music in the Trailer is Beautiful I love it so much!! (Just sayin.) Crossing my fingers that someone licenses part one. Was a big fan of the game as well, and would really like to see it.

I'll second that. They still cut a lot out, but spreading the game across 8 OVAs instead of 4 was definitely a good call. I see Presea and Zelos, woo! Noticed there were no shots of spoiler[Yggdrasil, I wonder if his "young" form will befriend Genis in this one or not.]

Yeah, I'd like them to license part one as well! Still, it is pretty nice to have a new series regardless, just on the odd chance that it does get licensed in the future.

This is nice and all, but when is someone going to work on my Tales of Legendia anime? This is seriously annoying me that almost every other major Tales title gets an anime, but not Legendia, oh no! And Abyss came out after Legendia and it already got an anime, no fair! And it's surely only a matter of time before Vesperia gets one.

Uhhh, Tales of Vesperia is getting a prequel movie though.
And isn't Tales of Legendia considered the "black sheep" of the Tales of franchise? Pretty much the most memorable characters out of that series is Senal and especially Chloe. |

I hope they make a series instead, I'm not an OVA fan for long games. Abyss was a perfectly good show and I really don't think the higher budget per episode is nearly as helpful as the longer running time of a normal series. Don't get me wrong, I'll be happy to get something either way, I just prefer to get a series over a few OVAs. They had to cut quite a lot of material in the original tales OVAs and so the pacing was too tight. |

It is considered the black sheep, mostly because it was developed by a different studio and used an older battle system and had the ever awesome Go Shiina do the music (my god, that had to be one of the best soundtracks in an RPG ever, I love you, Go Shiina!), but why should it not get an anime? I loved the characters and story in Legendia more than any of the other ones I've played so far and all the other games get the treatment, why should the black sheep be left out? |

Finally, they are going to be producing Part 2. I have been waiting years for this.
Wikipedia still says we'll have to wait until Spring 2010, but that hasn't been updated for about a year. |
