honestly there are much better manga running in champion RED then this like chaosic rune ES(oh how i would want an anime of that!!!),but then again the the studio in question choice to animate this series.

well between the two the likehood of it being licenced lies with yen press since they have licences that re from akita shoten(publisher of the champion anthology's) |

The thing is the entire "breast milk" fan service device doesn't get used as much as the write up suggests. There's plenty of other excuses used to get service in the manga, though.
If the adaptation gets a competent studio, it should be a fun series. The manga does introduce a pretty decent alchemy based combat system that does make for some good fights. I do agree with Ginrai1984 that Champion Red does have some better series that need adaptations. |

Though first I enthusiastically thought this title was a misspelling of 'Quasar', I now think it is best that I distance myself from it.
I don't quite have the distance which exists between me and a quasar in mind, as I'm not averse to the existence of fanservice, but some distance nonetheless. |

I'm excited! Especially because hopefully an anime version of Seikon no Qwaser will have to tone down on some of the really horrible bits in order to be broadcastable. I hate the horrible 'fanservice' (which seems much more like the mangaka's fetishes than anything directed at an audience) but I really love some of the ideas the manga has, like having elemental fighters who actually use real periodic table elements and therefore having fights that are more like chemistry lessons than fights (yeah I'm a geek
). The art is gorgeous too, so hopefully they'll keep the character designs the same.
