Hooray for ROOKIES! I loved that show! But a quick correction, if I may -- that's Takeru Satoh, not Ken Sato. (He was in ROOKIES and Kamen Rider Den-O.)

Wow, they really did like the live-action Transformers then. If that proved this successful then I can't help but wonder how well the live-action Dragonball movie will go over.

Yaaay Kanjani 8! I didn't know they were THAT big; certainly didn't expect them to make more than all the other JE bands, much less more than everyone in Japan..

I'm more interested in how the live-action Robotech will do.

How is it that "The World of Golden Eggs" keep selling and yet we know NOTHING about it and its ANN page has almost no info?

Because... Well...

Go find some clips on youtube or something. And I think you'll understand why most anime fans don't care about it.

Personally I think it's pretty hilarious but, it's hilarious in like an adult swim sort of way. If Adult swim was made by 2 japanese people on drugs.

I mean, you know it's big when they start doing ads for Nissan:

And I found this clip that... well... it represents the general level of humor quite well and is 70% in english!

it's from the same creators, anyway...

It's J-MTV's Beavis and Butthead - the mainstream dig it, the animation geeks ignore it (no moe, no loli, no gal to screw). Who says crass is the sole realm of Americans? (So next time somebody complains about that of the American mainstream....) Laughing
