Because they already called Onegai Teacher "Please, Teacher," and would like to keep the shows associated with one another. It's also the proper translation, deal.
For the record, don't type in caps, don't use so many exclamation points & smileys in succession, and use question marks on questions.

O.O
I never thought Kodocha would get licensed. I hope they can find someone really good to dub Sana.

While it is a shock to see it getting licensed, I'm both surprised and pleased that Kodocha is coming. It'll be awhile before we see it, much less get caught up where the fansub market left off for the most part. The great news is that those of us who have been wanting to finish the series will finally have the opportunity to do so.
As far as dubbing Sana... I wish them all luck.

Several of those titles were old news actually, but Chad didn't make much distinction between what was and was not a first time license announcement. And unfortunately, since we know about so many titles that aren't yet announced, we sometimes lose track of what has & has not been announced. Also, with Geneon's co-productions, we've been assuming alot of things (Paranoia Agent), but today was the first official confirmation of that.
Anyways, I put them all up and then came back later to remove the ones that weren't entirely accurate.

Stellvia, Kodocha...this is very good news.
Now, let's see some MariMite licensing. Survey SAYS! *points to an imaginary board*

Kodocha's only good news if the market can handle another 100+ episode series from FUNimation.

Hmm... I'm not completely sure about the issue then... Digi Charat for synch-point and Digi Charat Nyo for Bandai? I know they are two seperate series, but because of broccoli's deals, I would have thought that both series would have gone through Synch Point.

First DiGi Charat, now Kodocha....somebody is reading my plans.
What Next...
SailorStars?
Orguss?
Transformers Victory?
Hikaru no Go?
Dr Slump?
Violinist of Hameln?
Macross DYRL?
Macross 7?
Dragonar?
Romance of the Three Kingdoms?
*faints*
I hope I can get this SBA business course in soon. I need to found this company and find investors fast. My list keeps getting shorter or titles I've seen that are still unreleased or that the early 90's release company is dead.
I think it time to go with plan B-ko..
B-ko : AKAGIYAMA MISSLES!
Thomas : Ack! Run Away! Run Away!

Kodomo No Omocha is licenced? By Funimation? Simply too cool for words. And here I was, pondering about the R2 box sets, which are pretty hard to get. My hat's off to Funimation for braving the unknown.
And to the person dubbing Sana: May God have mercy on your soul.....
