are there variouse methods on how you relax to read manga? as for me,I relax Reading manga the Same way I would read a Book or a Magazine

I lye on my bed with a Pillow and Blanket with a fan and a glass of Lemonade on a hot day, than I would also go outside to relax on my back yard porch bench on a cool wheather to read.

On boring trips to visit my relatives wheather on a Bus,Plane or Train,I would always take me a handful of manga to relax my mind, even when my ears get stuffed up from plane trips

I also like to make a campout on my floor in my room and listen to my headset music/Cd Player while I'm reading to make Manga reading more relaxed and exciting, for example,I would either listen to Mp3 of Chrono Trigger or Kingdom Hearts burned on my CD while Reading to relax my mind

I usually just sit somewhere and read a manga book. Since the scenes are already drawn out for me, I don't need to do anything to relax and "feel" whats happening. Now when I am reading a novel, I may listen to certain music to set the mood, and I tend to read them outside, it helps to imagine the scenery better.

I just lay down on my bed and read manga. If I'm sitting up that's usually because I'm out of the house at school or somewhere else, but almost always when I'm at home it's in my room on my own bed.

Usually I lay on my bed and read manga. I sometimes sit in a chair and read it, but that is a rarity since I can't enjoy manga as much sitting in a chair as I do laying on a bed.

Relaxed? Who says you need to be relaxed? I was reading manga today on the subway carrying two bags. First sitting then standing when I switched trains. The small graphic novel format of most manga makes it perfect for reading on the go.

I normally lie down on my bed while I read any manga volumes. Usually, I sit on a chair to read it while I'm browsing the Internet though this doesn't happen very often. All my reading is normally at home.

This is exactly what I do as well. Prop two pillows on top of each other against the wall and lie back on my bed.

I can sit down just about anywhere and read manga because manga is how I relax. My favorite places, though, are at home on my bed or at school. I have about 45 minutes to kill between my Black Studies class and my Intermediate Algebra class on Mondays and Wednesdays, so I like to sit outside of the classroom with my classmates before class starts and read whatever graphic novels I picked up for the month.

Best thing about manga is that you don't need to be relaxed - you can take it anywhere. So, I read anywhere and everywhere whenever I feel like it ;D

Generally I can get relaxed wherever I am if I'm reading manga or anything else for that matter. Reading itself relaxes me. Though generally my preferred way to relax is to sit in a nice comfy chair with an ottoman or other foot rest. I like to lean back slightly and just slouch enough so I sink right and can prop my legs up. A nice cup of tea sitting next to me and some fruit to snack on and I am good to go. There were some nice comfy chairs at my old colleges little cafe center in the quad area of campus. I could even prop my laptop on my lap if I had the time. At home though my sitting requires a blanket as well so my cat (pictures in Community section, register to see them lol) Misty can jump up on my lap and keep me company. That's proper relaxing to the fullest there. Also helps that there's a window across from my favorite chair at home so I can look out the front and see people go by as well. I'm a people watcher, sue me. Razz

Lying down on bed, if it's daytime and sunny then lights are off with shades open (the bed's right next to the window), and if I have the anime OST(s) to the manga I'm reading, it will be playing.

I usually read manga in the car when I'm on a driving trip. I usually bring about 5-6 titles along with me, recline my seat and read away.

I have a big plush toy, a yellow mouse. If I'm reading manga, I usually use that as a pillow. Sometimes I lay back and put my head on it, but usually I sit crosslegged with the mouse on my lap, so I can hug it/lean on it while reading. I don't listen to music, unless it's a manga like Nodame Cantabile. I prefer silence and I will go as far as putting on industrial earprotectors. I'm happiest when it's winter, spring or autumn and the sun is shining through my window. I like the warmth.
