This is so awesome, hold on, gotta set up my hammock first and get my pillows and blankets in order, and my favorite sipping drink. Most relaxing DVD boxset ever.

Well I must say I am happy to finally being able to get my hands on the anime series soon. I was turned onto the manga by a friend and it quickly became one of my favorites in record time. I do wish we would be getting a dub with it, along with Emma, but beggars can't be choosers as they say. So I'll enjoy Aria anyway I can get it.

Who would want the voices butchered by the dub? (I <3 the original cast too much). No dub is no reason to complain...saves us money too

You make such silly assumptions.

It can be silly for a lot of anime, but Aria is one where the voices really can't be well replicated. I've never heard a good moe dub, American voice actresses just can't high that pitch and remain cute sounding. Maybe for Akira it'd be fine, but I don't like the idea of "PROHIBITED" replaced kinshi. Doesn't flow well.

If you meant I was assuming there'd be a dub...I was actually just responding to the previous poster who said they wished for one

All of the Aria shows and OVAs are great and I'm glad it is finally coming to the States. On the issue of a dub I'm glad it is not being dubbed, I prefer dubbed anime in general, but not thin time. Not do to the voices but do to the fact that the show will not be a hit or sell overly well. I am hoping that if sub only of small market titles sell well, we will continue to see small market titles brought here.

Some people find the less high-pitched and more realistic voices from dubs of "moe" anime to be a lot more tolerable than the Japanese voices. Depends on the person really.
