That is true. How is this a hint if fans know know Tite Kubo may be coming? Also, isn't this disrespectful just to say "Kubo" instead of Tite Kubo or Mr. Kubo?

It's gonna either be AX or Comic Con. If Watsuki's appearance is any indication, I'm betting the latter event.

I'm surprised they haven't gotten Kishimoto yet, though.

AX or whatever Con it would be..
Man, I'd feel sorry for the man (Outside of all the money he makes from Naruto).
But yeah, a con with Kishimoto?
It'd be total insanity...

Cool :3 Although I'm not sure Kubo Tite alone would be enough reason for me to go to either con... :/

It's difficult to invite a mangaka serializing in a weekly magazine to go abroad. The only possible window would be skipping a "combo issue," creating a 3-week gap.

Although many manga-ka are notorious for working from deadline to deadline, I've certain there are those who work well in advance.

Oh man, Kubo's one of my favorites! Personally I'd be more excited at the prospect of Hiromu Arakawa or Masashi Kishimoto (although I have to admit, that one'd definitely be crazy! I'd probably be in line all day for that one..... ), or possibly even Akira Toriyama, but Kubo's still great! Watsuki would have been great too, such a shame I missed him.
I'd also like to see some of the other heavy hitters like Takehiko Inoue, Echiro Oda or Yoshihiro Togashi, although those one's would be pretty tough to get too I imagine.

I would love to have an alone time with Masashi Kishimoto. But how about the biggest one: Masamune Shirow, that would be so cooled.

I saw the hint in connection to San Diego 3 days or so ago at a manga site & have been waiting patiently for confirmation.
San Diego has crowd control down, though. Look at all the Hollywood names that show up every year. I'm always amazed at all the tales of glomping & craziness that goes on at other cons. The only glomping I've heard whispered of at Comic-con is at the hotels. This does mean shy manga-ka might feel safer at San Diego. It's quite regular for them to insist no cameras & to only sign items they pass out for signatures.
