Granted this IS a original plot, this really sounds like a Ranma 1/2 rip off. Let me guess, if the girl has soda powered over her she can become a can again?
Most likely this series will become either a hareem or very strange comedy of sorts.

Well....I'll try any series for at least one-two episodes....but a soda can....? Never seen/heard that one before.
PS: 95% of ALL anime has fan-service in it. Do you only watch the remaning 5%?

I guess the author got this idea when he bought himself a soda can and wished girls would be that easy to get.
Most stupid concept.
Most generic character design.

What's happenning to anime? Fanservice is so used nowadays that it isn't funny anymore.

The part that really gets me is using kissing to "replenish carbon dioxide." Try using that as a pick-up line in a bar and see how far you get.

I guess. I only watch anime that has fan-service and violence kept to a minimum (like Air, Clannad, Kanon). Although Shounen Onmyouji has violence, it has no traces of naked people (which is absolutely great for me).

It must be sheer luck on this guy's part,to have this crap idea made from light novels into an anime,or Japan's youth is just that lonely for transforming soda can girls.

Just goes to show that they really do have vending machines for everything in Japan.

Technical correction - The original product in the Shuffle! franchise was the PC-platform eroge. The anime was adapted from the eroge, not the light novels. The manga, light novels, PS2 game, etc. came afterward.

I don't think I need to make any more comments on how bizzare the plot is...
But then, it must be at least somewhat decent if they're gonna make an anime out of it.
The carbon dioxide by kissing thing somehow reminds me of Karin, though.
