Well, if the "concept movie" is any indication they seem to be going for something very beautiful for what on paper sounds like the drunken antics of a cute college girl.

I think they meant in the sense that it doesn't actually point to their famous work. Like Matsuo is mostly known as the character designer fot Yama no Susume, just listing him as a key animator on a single project doesn't reflect how big he is.
