What do people like about this show exactly? I tried it once not too long ago but I genuinely couldn't stomach the humor for more than 2 episodes. Kohei being a creep certainly didn't help either. Does it get better or is it really just not for me?

It’s definitely subjective. Normally this wouldn’t be my cup of tea. I went into it for the voice actors, and while not all jokes landed for me, there were moments where I was genuinely laughing out loud which almost never happens. I’ve rewatched it a few times since it’s aired, and this show, much like Gintama, is just the right side of wacky to pull me out of a funk and make me smile. I would say to give it a few more episodes, but if it’s not your thing that’s also perfectly fine. |
