I can't wait to see it. That hacker girl, Eleina, looks quite cool.

I must be the only one not excited for this, because of the way all of the other Adult Swim anime have turned out

Count me in too. The Japanese dub is a month behind the initial release so I'm not going out of my way to watch this.

The trailer certainly gives off those Cowboy Bebop vibes. I'll check it out when the episodes are available on Max. With Adult Swim's track record, I'm not going to get too excited.

Yea Adult Swim doesn’t have the best track record with anime so I feel the same, and as someone who prefers to watch subbed the fact that the Japanese dub will be out a month later I’m in no rush to watch.

I wanna believe because it's Watanabe but man does the Adult Swim anime series they produced sucked hard so far so I'm cautiously optimistic.

Wow, after watching the trailer, I think this could probably be a hit or a miss, it's hard to say. But this looks very interesting to me given this was directed by the guy who did Cowboy Bebop, so I'm not turning this down.

I agree, after Ninja Kamui, Rick & Morty: the anime and especially Uzumaki, I'm kind of skeptical when it comes to these [adult swim] anime. But it seems Shinichiro Watanabe seems pretty excited about his new project and he said Lazarus is going to be his magnum opus, which is quite the statement from the guy who created and directed Cowboy Bebop. But that's the thing, I think Shinichiro was quite smart, because the anime that he directed after Cowboy Bebop weren't attempts at trying to recapture its magic, I mean, you could argue that shows like Samurai Champloo, Space Dandy and Carole & Tuesday had some elements in common with Bebop, but they had a lot of differences, Kids of the Slope is another anime by Shinichiro Watanabe which seems to be overlooked, though I think that was based on a manga. However, I always felt that the anime industry, at least when it related to the U.S. market, has always tried to make a series as successful as Cowboy Bebop was, and I'm speaking as a non-U.S. anime fan that always find it interesting that Bebop was considered one of the most popular shows there, I mean, I think it's one of the best shows from the '90s, but it always amazed me that it was more popular in the U.S. compared to the rest of the world, but I think some shows had tried to imitate Bebop, but never managed to achieve it, like some Studio Bones (which was founded by people who worked in Bebop) works like Wolf's Rain and the somewhat recent Metallic Rouge.
Just hope Cartoon Network won't try to market Lazarus as the new Cowboy Bebop.

Going to echo the worries about this based on Adult Swim's track record, and will add in Fena: Pirate Princess as an AS co-produced anime original that stank things up

Well, it visually looks cool and fun, but I'll wait and see if it turns out to be worth watching.
