GoHands stuff is always an adventure.
"How do we know she's a gamer girl?" "Make sure literally every line she says has a gamer reference." I remain convinced that GoHands is in fact an AI construct that was given an objective of "make the hair move" in some old production and decided that the way to do it is to keep making new shows with wind and too much hair. |

GoHands indeed always delivers an adventure. The opening alone makes you very aware it is one of their projects with how the animation and camera are duking it out. There is also the fact that the jiggle meter has been turned all the way to the max. As for the episode itself.. it felt like there was no clear direction and that the characters are trying way too hard to be quirky. The animation is also, again, very GoHands which means busy as hell and sometimes not pleasant to look at.
The setting is somewhat interesting but otherwise it is not hooking me. |

Episode 1
I enjoyed that more than I expected to. GoHands productions tend to appeal to me visually, but then fail hard on story and characters and just generally making me give a shit. But I'm kinda digging the mix of girls, weapons, cooking and foes so far. You have survived the first episode test, ML... well-played, well-played. |

Welp, the show maybe ought to come with a warning for epileptics, but I really enjoyed the visual style too, and I was okay with the level of story developed. This is probably more like an experience than an anime that I would normally watch, and I might get bored with it once the shock value of the visual spectacle wears off, but I wasn't bored today by golly.
P.S. I thought the flying drones that could generate giant energy hologram bodies were pretty cool. |

Though, as usual, no one has the balls to give their big naked hologram people dicks. Or balls, for that matter.

So there are 3 of us in the world who will publicly admit to liking GoHands animation style?
I actually found Episode 1 to be quite restrained with the use of odd camera angles for a GoHands production. Overall a riot of visuals, sound, and action that made the episode seem over in almost no time at all. |

I am not sure whether a lot of people simply dislike the visual style or if their eyeballs find it to be a bit too much to handle. For me the latter is the case with so much movement and effects that I start to feel a bit unwell.

Welp, it would take someone more socially conscious and nuanced than I am to tell you if "Attack of the Big Shlongs" would compromise the yuri vibe or oddly reinforce it in some Dystopian Freudian Nightmare Parody kind of way. And Blood has already spoken up, so mmph--- Sorry, I couldn't write that with a straight typeface |

Well, the second episode surprised me. The animation was a bit more calm so that was welcome but even more surprising than that was the tone. Given the flashback/forward(?) Renge experienced I had a feeling things might not end well and indeed they did not. I hope it is not going to be a show where the group is slowly killed off one by one. The setting does keep me interested, no idea if it is enough to keep me watching the whole thing.

A week late to the topic, but count me as number five of the people that are watching and enjoying this show! I was certainly not expecting things to go the way they did with the second episode.

I'm still watching, but pushing through the dialog continues to be a challenge for me.
