Until otherwise reported I'll just go with the assumption of impossible deadlines for the manga and lack of help as the main contributing factors for the stress. The typical manga 1-2 punch that leads to hiatus.

Hopefully bumping a thread that's less than two months old doesn't count as "necroposting" but Jirou Sugiura's hiatus from drawing My Wife Has No Emotion seems to be coming to an end as he's posting the rough sketch version of chapter 56 on his Twitter meaning the next chapter will likely be published by the end of November.
