Oh, I suppose they announced it in honor of her birthday? That was Oct 10.

Congrats! I know I helped a bit since she's one of the few creators I've gotten everything released in English for. (Which reminds me, I need to catch up on Mao).

Next up Nobel Prize in Literature? Too bad they focus on serious, significant works rather than popular and entertaining.

I just recently finished reading Rinne and it felt so strange. I had been collecting the phsyical volumes since 2010 (when I was 15!!) and now 14 years later, that journey is over.

I've always noticed that since Inuyasha's end, Rumiko's works haven't been very popular anymore. Not sure what caused it, but I personally remain loyal. Or rather, sort of. Rinne is the only one I read in its entirety, for the rest I only watched the anime adaptions and in case of Ranma, just the final few chapters.

I did get all 17 2-in-1 Urusei Yatsura volumes! Mao is definitely next on the list.
