Sounds like Kusunoki Taiten is pulling double duty for both Heihachi and M.Bison in Street Fighter 6!

Considering he's also the voice of Nagoriyuki in GGST, he's really fitting himself into all major FG japanese franchises.

Heihachi's back, Bison's back, nobody stays dead and both voiced by Taiten Kusunokii!

Though I kind of figured they'd lay him to rest permanently because of his deceased seiyuu, but I guess Kusunoki already voiced him in Bloodlines. [/list]

So Geese is going to come back in MOTW2?

Geese already revived in Fatal Fury using some sort of scrolls. He was also nicknamed Nightmare Geese in Maximum Impact which takes place in a mix timeline between MOTW1 and KOF 2003

Officially he’s still dead in the Fatal Fury/Mark Of The Wolves continuity.

Yeah, and I definitely do hope that SNK continues on with this (Nakoruru was part of Team Another World in KOF XIV for good reason), but the KOF series takes place in its own separate continuity/universe from the "main" SNK one, hence why Geese is still alive in KOF but dead in Mark of the Wolves. The main reason why KOF takes place in its own universe originally was because the Art of Fighting & Fatal Fury franchises take place roughly 20 years apart in SNK lore (70s/80s vs. 90s/00s), but the people making KOF wanted characters from those two lines to not have that age gap in KOF.

Otherwise, Yuri & King should be more older aunt figures to characters like Mai & Blue Mary, rather than them being of similar age ranges, like they are in KOF. Also, Takuma would be closer in age to Chin Gentsai than he normally is in KOF. Geese being kept alive in KOF just helps re-enforce the difference between the two universes, alongside the simple fact that South Town was literally blown up in KOF 2000 & had to rebuild, while it's just fine in Mark & City of the Wolves.

Also, Maximum Impact has never been considered canon, in any way, so don't use that to prove canonicity.

This is also incorrect. Geese didn't use the Jin Scrolls to revive himself in Fatal Fury 3, since he was after those in that game to gain immortality. Geese simply faked his death in Fatal Fury 1 in order to slowly recover & later get revenge on Terry. Geese died in Real Bout 1, in the scene referenced in MOTW's intro (RB Special & 2 are both considered non-canon entries), and has remained such since in the "main" SNK universe.
