So, possible spoiler question, but spoiler[the fact that Furtuna and Sirius have different voice actresses dispells the speculation that Sirius is Fortuna... yes? Betelgeuse and Petelgeuse shared the same voice, so why wouldn't they? Unless they're just trying not to give away a big spoiler based on casting choice that would've been obvious...?]

Knowing Kenjiro Tsuda's previous works, this guy is some sort of miserable old dude who lost his family and never shaves his beard...
Still, I wonder how is the third season gonna stand out considering the first second half of season 2 tried giving the series a different approach as the writer really loved abusing Subaru's torment and the second half was instead a mix of characters with hope
I think she is still in a coma but they seem to remember or try to. |

even in s1 when they did 25 eps. they had longer episodes that made it as long as 30 eps. it was even more with s2. now s3 starts with 90 min ep. that's almost 5 episodes worth of content. they even skip OP and ED's and they become rare when they're shown and that became a meme. so hype for arc 5 and 6. especially 6 and the end! |

Subaru's the only one who remembers her, but Ram does feel a link to her, despite not having any memories. But that didn't stop her from planning to abandon her during the mansion attack in one of last season's loops. |

Konomi Suzuki back on the OP, girls in yukata, reuniting with a lot of old faces, a 90 minute premier, new characters, fun hijinks before the inevitable despair...Re:Zero is back!
I see Willhelm and Reinhard have some stuff to discuss about his late wife. So how is this new girl related to Petelgeuse what with having the same last name? It's not like the other Archbishops have the same last name either. Also Chika Anzai playing a baddie. |

Id say it's a point against it, but otoh having the spoiler[same VA] would be outright confirmation while this can still be explained away if need be, so you have to put it against the spoiler[same hair color] and spoiler[pointy ears], the latter which was confirmed first by the anime. I do think Tappei leans quite abit into this theory while still leaving it plenty ambiguous, so I'd say having such a strong confirmation would kinda go against that. |
