Kinda strange to say The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten is a new license as it's already on both Comikey and Manga UP! And next year, 2024? It's already been on those two services since last year.
Am I missing some context here?  Did the announcement mean physical editions and the article failed to mention it?

You got it, Square Enix Manga does print releases (or print+digital, but not any digital-only that I'm aware of). This also isn't the first time they've had a title that was already on MangaUp/Comikey; others (Girl I Like Forgot Her Glasses is one that I recall) have different translations/lettering for those digital versions and SE's print versions so it's probably safe to assume this will also be a distinct edition from what's already up.

From a completionist perspective it makes absolute sense to release Soul Eater Not: Perfect edition, especially since I'm sure Square wants to have their own consistent translation... but is there really any demand for Not compared to the original...?

Is there going to be another season of the My Dress-Up Darling anime? Because otherwise, releasing a companion book about the anime 2.5 years after the fact really feels like missing the bus.

S2 was announced like a year ago, yeah. (I'd rather have an manga artbook tbh...)

My Dress-Up Darling will hopefully surpass One Piece.

First it has to surpass Fullmetal Alchemist both in sales and MAL score.

True that.. but I meant hopefully in episode count (I just really love the anime and manga)

The 300-chapter arc searching for a mythical fabric type currently underway should help fuel that effort.
