Fights look good, (I’d hope so, it is the Shang-Chi people), Saori/Sienna’s acting…less so.

Well, it doesn't look like the worst thing ever, even if it falls into that "generic hollywood adaption of a Japanese property" in some places.
But hey, Marin! Seiya's wearing red and blue! I'm surprised Shaina's not in this.
The guy playing Ikki seems to have the attitude down.

Honestly I think the most frustrating part is that it just looks so......bland. Like Saint Seiya should be colorful but it's just all so gray and even the powers have such a darker tone that it doesn't even really clash in an interesting way. The acting seems......fiiiiiine, but that's about it. Like the best thing I can say about this movie is that it hasn't done any like, offensively bad changes which is good, but right now it seems to me like this movie is just gonna be BORING. Also while it was pretty obvious already, this trailer makes me almost 100% certain that Seiya and Ikki are the only Saints showing up in this, which I mean I GET just because trying to introduce the entire team in one movie would be kinda hard and focusing on Seiya in the first movie CAN work but also sucks for people who like all the other saints outside of Seiya

The trailer isn't awful, but it also doesn't give me Saint Seiya vibes, and I really dislike Seiya's armor. Hopefully he gets a new one by the end of the movie.
