Interested to see how the audio book for So I'm a Spider, So What? will be handled. The writing style is rather unique, the viewpoints jump around so much, and big stat blocks have significant importance.
As for Spice and Wolf, there's really no one other than J. Michael Tatum who should be reading that one.

I was really hoping they could get the voice actress for Holo for this as well. The SAO audiobooks are fantastic, and alot of that is due to them having both Kirito and Asuna. Hopefully they can pull it off for the next volume.

Huh, I'm surprised Brianna Knickerbocker isn't narrating the "So I'm a Spider, So What?" novels. Is the novel not a 1st person narrative enough to justify it?
Andrew Grace has apparently done a few audibooks so I guess they went with someone reliable since Rascal doesn't have a dub (yet).

I was really hoping they'd get Brina Palencia back too, but I guess I'm not surprised.

The novels are mostly first-person, actually, but only about half of that is from the perspective of the spider for the first five novels. Most of the rest is from the perspective of Shun, with occasional chapters and short interludes that are either third-person, from another specific character's perspective (the senior mage and the Demon Lord's chief subordinate, for instance), or even from an unknown (at the time) perspective. A big part of the mystery aspect of the series is trying to figure out who's being featured in the latter scenes, which can make going back to read the earlier novels after reading the later ones to be quite enlightening.

Yep I can totally 100% agree with this....It is totally not surprising that spice and wolf wasn't considered valuable enough for this expense......(then gets up and cries in a corner).

I have no idea who the other two actors are great to see Tatum attached to the project. They should of made the extra effort to get Brina Palencia back as well.

Especially when later novels imply (or it's at least theorized by fans that) Holo is the one writing the books as a way to remember her time with Lawrence.

J. Michael Tatum costs less than Brina Palencia? I wonder...

I was thinking you would have to pay two artist more to do the same material then just one of them
