Shame Season 1 isn't legally streaming anywhere for the time being. It's no longer on Prime Video. I figured Crunchyroll will have it next with the way they worded a certain tweet. I'm really hoping it's so. I never got around to watching it yet, but I need to.

Damn. It's really not available for legal streaming anymore? Crazy. Well, with season 2 on the way, I take it someone will rectify that soon enough.

Youtube.com/watch?v=7USAY58rA6A&t=5836s&ab_channel=NBCUniversalAnime%2FMusic is nearly 5 hours long but is an official upload of the first season. You have to click on the subtitles/closed captioned button for the Eng. subs. It is available until Oct. 11. I think this is the first time I have seen an official upload of a standard 12-13 epi. anime as one long video on YT. I have sometimes seen this with pirated uploads on YT.

Wow that's surprising but not unpleasant, i was certain Tenpuru would be one getting a sequel. I look forward some hilarous scenes from the manga which haven't been animated yet.

This was a neat little show. It made no excuses or apologies for the protagonist being a real jerk without trying to justify it in any way. Instead the show was like "yeah, bad things did happen to you that weren't your fault and were beyond your control, but you're still a jerk 100% responsible for all the bad stuff that you did do." The main character's cousin, basically the only good person on the show, didn't give him the "protagonist pass" that you normally see. Instead she was like "he may be family and we used to be close when we were kids, but he's a loser now so I am not going to cover for him or hang out with him or else he'll drag me down too." And even though "it is legal in Japan" there was no romantic or other attraction between the protag and his (very attractive) cousins, probably his sole consistently redeeming quality.

From what I know about the source material, the protag is going to have to confront the consequences of bad stuff that he did before going to college, and the person forcing him to spoiler[is going to be his little sister who] was impacted by it, and is also not a good person, meaning he is going to get some of his own medicine handed to him by someone who won't be restrained by morals or ethics and will resort to underhanded stuff. Should be real fun to watch.
