About all I can say for this show is that I'm glad some actor/writers/engineers were paid.
On a more positive note, I am happy to see Ryan Colt Levy get a first(?) leading role. I really liked his work in the newest MHA movie and Moriarty and I hope we get to hear more from him!

And yet another funimation dub completely outsourced to LA. Definitely passing on this one.[/code]

The way things are now, they can't record everything themselves. Besides, the common complaint was that they kept using "the same" actors, so I don't see outsourcing as a bad thing.
That said, this is one of the few times where my reaction to a dub announcement is, "Why?" This was not well received at all, and I doubt anyone would have blamed them for a sub-only release.

Yeah I'll be honest, a dub for this show would just result in me looking at the visuals more often and having a worse experience lmao

I kind of wonder if some shows get licensed with an agreement that Funimation will pay for a dub. Otherwise you’re right that this one is a head scratcher.

Well, a strong cast for a less than stellar title.

I don't see how outsourcing is a bad thing. There's nothing wrong with that.
That said, the show itself looks terrible. I'm curious about the visuals but I think I'll pass.

Sent to film works manages to hire local talent for their dubs just fine despite being much smaller. Funimation has gotten stale.

Sentai doesn't have a massive backlog of shows to work through. Some gotta get sent outside the state or they will never catch up. Still plenty getting dubbed in Texas.
