Ellie's story on Toshiba's HD-DVD losing the war was slightly chopped off at the beginning. Otherwise, all the news stories were well done. I noticed Mario is clasping his hands while Ellie has hers at her sides... whatever works for them. I'm sure standing up through multiple takes gets uncomfortable.
#10 Anime DVD in Japan - Ratatouille! That's an anime? Who knew?! As for the Anime Jump Show, that was my 1st exposure to a screwball sitcom like Galaxy Angel. Interesting, but not my cup of tea. I did get the references to FLCL & Voltron... As for "Choppy & the Princess" AKA "Princess Knight", the color is magnificent & it's an interesting history lesson. The artistry looks similar to "Kimba the White Lion" & the B&W "Astro Boy", which are all more cartoony compared to what modern fans are used to in manga & anime. Maybe "Kimba" would do better on [adult swim] than the 1963 NBC "Astro Boy" dub because it's in color... or maybe not. Modern fans don't seem to have much appreciation for the old-school classics... plus, "Astro Boy" is a "kids" show on an "adult" network. Can't wait for giant robots next month! Finally, I like their visual signoffs; Mario's Dick Clark salute & Ellie's finger wave. Cute & keep it going... |

Galaxy Angel's been a favorite ever since I first watched it subtitled on AXN Asia. Not sure if the Tagalog dub showed the S special before X. Seems kind of weird how the end credits for X seemed to be pairing up Milfeulle and Chitose when they didn't interact much in the stories.
Been ages since I watched Princess Knight. I remember the Hercules cartoon being on the same rental tapes as Speed Racer. |

The news part of the show was ok, but the Toshiba segment got cut up in the start. Mike Toole still rules but the mecha reference in Galaxy Angel is not for Voltron but for Tadao's Nagahamas' Voltus V/Combattler V, I've always found Galaxy Angel a pretty fun experience that doesn't fully go tho the murky depth of full blown MOE, and the Princess Knight spot showcases anothe classic anime that the Unwashed Masses(TM) won't care but that helped shape what shoujo anime is today.
Next Anime Jump show will be a treat for me with Super Robot Wars Original Generation and Macron 1 (GoShogun with or without Srungle, who some people might know as Gorilla Force) |

Is there a way to download ANNTV? I'd like to keep some of the Anime Jump Show Reviews, but I can't find away to download a flash video?

If you use Firefox, there's an extension that lets you download Flash videos. |

Yes I use firefox, but that feature is new to me. I don't know how to use it, or where to find it. I just thought that maybe ANN would make the shows available. I also do not own an IPOD or ITunes, as I use a PC and not a MAC. |

Great show this week. Although my anime tastes are pretty much the exact opposite of Mike's, his show is still fantastic fun to watch.
Now this I am looking forward to! |

iTunes is available for Windows, free download, though you need XP or Vista for the latest version.

If you download and install ITUNES, is the download there, or is it streaming like on the site? |

My bad... I'm a geezer when it comes to comics & cartoons, but a semi-newbie otaku when it comes to manga & anime. My anime interest got stronger in 2005. As for giant robots, I just like them, anime or not. Looking forward to next month... BTW,a fun cartoon that pays homage to & parodies mecha anime at the same time is Megas XLR. Who needs an angsty Japanese teenager when you have a slacker gearhead/video gamer/wrestling fanatic from New Jersey?! |

Definitely. Mamiko Noto's my favourite voice actress, so I'll definitely be tuning in next week! |

Good show guys, and i am glad to hear that The Anime Jump Show will have a set time every month. But I don't think those 2 guys will have too much of an impact on fansubs because once they take someone down someone else just crops up to take their place.

How embarassing. What can I say, it's been a rough week.
The podcasts are now corrected. The streaming version will be fixed in a few minutes.
