RIP. Loved him as Kagome's Grandpa and Gennai Shiraga in Saber Marionette J. His best role is Professor von Schlemmer in Sonic AM in my opinion.

R.I.P
I remember him as Kagome's Granpa in Inuyasha and Watari in Death Note, such a legendary figure for English Dub animes. A very sad loss for the industry, thank you very much for your talent sir.

Thank you for giving Dozle such a memorable voice, you will always be Dozle. Growing up in that era of anime had such impactful dubs. French's voice just stayed with you. Rest in peace.

How sad. I had no idea that Mr. Tickner was ninety-one when he died. He was in "Inuyasha" and a whole bunch of other anime. It's sad to see him go,regardless of his advanced age.
RIP,French Tickner. You won't be forgotten anytime soon.

Kirby Morrow was one thing, but to lose French Tickner too. 91 is an age most never reach and he was still acting until 2016. I'll miss him.
