I'm really happy that this contest is back! I always looked forward to entering every year and was sad to see it go.
But I wonder if maybe in the future there could be a sort of consolation prize where the winner is just a random entry? I enjoy carving pumpkins, and I'm pretty good at it for a layperson, but the last couple years of this contest the skill level seemed to skyrocket and I felt like I never had any chance of winning.

Ahh, we used to do that, but forgot to do it this time.
If we get anymore last-minute prize additions, we'll make a consolation package.

Super excited to see this year's entries! I entered for the first time ever and I had a blast carving it. I can't remember the last time I made one, but it has been a good many years. Good luck to everyone!

The lighting near the bulge had me dying. I hope that was intentional. Definitely would be my choice to win this contest.

That Inuyasha one is labelled "Kagome", but isn't that Kikyo?

Man, how do the rest of you guys get your lines so clean? I am careful and take my time but my lines always come out looking so sloppy.
