Why is this article a thing? I can understand when ANN covers stuff about the movies or the publication of the manga, but this is just flat-out advertising merch of a series made by a dude that loves child porn. It's distasteful.

he was taught/mentored by watsuki for starters. Recently a column indicates there's no animosity between the two either after the whole Watsuki incident. Now I know Oda isn't obligated to come out with what he thinks, but there's a lot of implications with just that chummy interview alone.

He also noticeably bailed out the author of Toriko from his predicament. Predicament being molesting a child. They're still great friends.

So nothing much really. I mean plenty of mangeka remain on cordial terms with those individuals so by that logic they all have to be “in on it.”
