And yet it still somehow doesnt have an anime yet.... If fruits basket can get a remake then this one would deserve an adaptation befor that....

I read this series in print in German and I like it because it follows the characters for a longer period of time and there's an interesting phase when she's a university student and he's in his last year in high school. I think the two are a cute couple and they show some clear progression instead of staying stagnant the whole time. But they bicker A LOT, and that's probably a turn-off for a lot of people.
But I kind of wish it'd end already because it's getting a little too long for me. Is it going to follow them all the way through to retirement or what?
