Man, this reminds me that I never finished the manga...it was pretty charming.

If it’s anything like the manga, then great ending.

Interesting. Wonder if this means a dub (it’s probably too old for that though).

I almost cried with joy when I saw this news. I adore Lovely Complex so much, and I'm over the moon that it'll be more easily available to new audiences.

Great! This anime brings back some fond memories, so happy to be able to watch it again legally.

Even a reviewer stated that the Netflix version seemed inspired by Lovely Complex. https://www.slashfilm.com/tall-girl-trailer/ |

I remember watching some episodes of this a while back and I enjoyed what I saw. Seeing this news has me inclined to go back to it and actually finish it this time.

Nice to see some people who never saw this will get a chance to now (legally). I own this on disc, one of my favourite romcoms.

Through streaming anyway, but it's been available on dvd for quite a while now, and because Discoteck released, it was never prohibitively expensive as a blind buy to check out. I picked up my set for just over 20 bucks. |

Either way, few people are willing to blindly purchase a 10+-year-old shoujo anime, especially when the manga is so long out of print. Twenty dollars is pretty cheap, but the streaming culture has made people super hesitant to try out anything that's not free to watch first. |

Just finished this; absolutely loved it. I wish it were dubbed so my daughter could watch it (she doesn't do subs); she'd love it also.
Either way, very happy CR added it. |
