The art looks like it could be an interesting work, too bad it's Yamakan!

Soon Yamakan will have retired and come out of retirement more times than Miyazaki, even though he's 33 years younger.

Further proving that the answer to the question "Will Yamakan ever truly shut the fudge up?" is a loud and resounding "No."

If he manages to get the funding to do this, I'm sure he'll manage to sabotage it somehow. He can't help himself.

Sounds like he's basically Floyd Mayweather, which he's come out of retirement more times. TRUTH

People always forget that Yamakan is actually not bad at this job. Had personality, but overall pretty good at what he does. That said, that amount of money is no where near enough to make a decent anime.

I'm used to being frustrated & even appalled by Yamakan but actively invoking the Kyoani fire as motivation, particularly in the promo image is a step too far even by his revolting standards. The best thing he could have done was to leave that studio well alone, as they were more than happy to do once they kicked his ass to the curb. But no, he's attacking fellow animators and dredging up the trauma out of pure narcissism masquerading itself as sympathy. Seriously f- that trash-fire of a human being.

Exactly what people need in their moment of grieve: a dark, violent anime that by the preview image directly alludes to the tragedy, made by a narcissistic piece of *hit director.
Please just retire from working in this industry already, Yamamoto.

I would joke about him cancelling his retirement - again -, but this being a special case, I don't even have the energy to. He's exactly the worst possible person for this job, knowing his history with Kyoani.

Yamakan once again trying to crowdfund from the otaku he hates but with the addition of using a recent mass murder to promote his project. I would ask if Yamakan has any sense of shame but considering he uses fire in his promotional art the answer seems obvious. I am somewhat surprised that there are still that many people that would give money to a Yamakan project.

I dearly wish for this man to continue to fail at everything he does, because that's all he deserves.
