Interesting!!! I was waiting for this kind of partnership. I wonder if that means a longer block for Toonami or more selections for them as a whole.

I wonder if they will put more of their dubbed content on there. It is shame that Sentai have not tried it, it would be nice to see shows like Made in Abyss and Flip Flappers on Toonami.

Sentai has put Akame ga Kill, Parasyte and Children Who Chase Lost Voices on Toonami, but yeah wish they put more on Toonami. |

Seems like the standard US anime company collaboration: let's split the cost on licenses. I guess it's cool Adult Swim stuff shows up on Crunchyroll now. Isn't all the anime like months or years old by the time it's on Adult Swim though? |

I would say the most likely titles from this partnership are KonoSuba, Mob season 2, and The Ancient Magus' Bride. (I would say Re:Zero but the episode lengths are a problem for American TV.)

didn't canada get it's own adult swim channel not to long ago? they're pretty lucky i guess. it would be nice if this meant toonami more than once a week or at least longer blocks on saturday. for the adult swim channel it might be nice to have toonami as kind of the adult swim to cartoon network and have it come on everyday at certain times with different anime instead of the same few every saturday.

Canada has never had Toonami and most likely will never have it as most of the block was/is predominantly 3rd party accusations. The CN and Adult Swim channels are both run by Corus, the same company that basically killed Canada's non Pokemon/Bakugan/Beyblade/YuGiOh airings on TV up here with the end of YTV's Bionix block, which might as well have been Canada's Toonami. |

Episode lengths can easily be split into two, or they can just not run a episode of a show that week (SAO 3 just had a one hour long premiere a few weeks ago, preempting an episode of Megalobox). |

Not a surprise, given who owns them, but I do wonder what this will mean for Toonami's line-up, especially given that most (but not all) of its current content come from other distribution companies like Funimation or Viz. Not that CR doesn't have the library to fill it.
I'd be very curious to see if Attack on Titan and My Hero Academia, both licensed by Funi, continue to air when those new seasons start back up. I'd assume Attack on Titan probably will since its coming back pretty soon, and that contract might already be worked out. |
