Such a sad and sudden passing. I loved his current manga too, as an artist myself it breaks my heart to see someone pass away so suddenly. May he rest in peace.

I must comment that though you may burn to ash is a manga (which is licensed and released in North America) that is worth to check out, over-the-top violent and the plot is actually carefully structured. A huge shame we will never be able to see the real-intended conclusion.
Rest In Peace

I'm unfamiliar with any of his work. Regardless, it is heartbreaking to lose someone so suddenly. My heart goes out to his family.

well... fudge.
I've been eyeing this series for quite some time and was waiting for more volumes or for it to finish publication before I get started.
It's always sad when someone passes away but to leave their craft unfinished is especially harrowing.
Although did the manga get cancelled before his passing or was it because he passed away?
Obviously 'he' can't finish his story but if he'd charted out how he intended to end it someone could have finished it.
Provided it was popular enough of course.

Or, potentially, any conclusion. The article does make it seem like the series was axed after Kakashi Oniyazu's passing.
