Culver City, CA (Sept. 17, 2024) – Crunchyroll and A PLUS JAPAN are joining forces to announce the English global release of Lord of Nazarick—a turn-based roleplaying game based on the hit OVERLORD anime. Releasing this fall on Android and iOS devices, Lord of Nazarick will bring mobile players to a fantasy world where magic and might clash. Starting today, fans eager to command their armies can pre-register for the game on the Google Play and App Store.*

Set to release around Overlord: The Sacred Kingdom's global theatrical run beginning on November 8 in the U.S. and Canada, Lord of Nazarick allows new and long-time OVERLORD fans to catch up or relive the anime currently streaming on Crunchyroll with a fresh perspective. Crunchyroll previously announced that it has also acquired select international rights in EMEA and Latin America in addition to North America (theatrical dates for the international territories not yet announced).

Upon launch, Lord of Nazarick will be the first game to fully implement Crunchyroll Login—a new feature enhancing the free-to-play experience for Crunchyroll Premium members. Across all global versions of the game, players that log in as a Crunchyroll Premium member will receive special rewards, including in-game currency, a battle pass, and exclusive access to activations across Crunchyroll theatrical and ecommerce experiences.
