She's the hardcore old lady guild leader. Very small, forgettable role. I'm not surprised that the actor wasn't available for a simuldub.

She didn't return not because the role was forgettable, but because she's retired with her husband and fellow voice actor Grant James. On the downside, there goes my hope of Grant playing August. He would've been so perfect...

I didn't say she did. I said I'm not surprised she wasn't available. It's been years since the last time the character was recorded. Things happen.

Brittney Karbowski sang before, right? I heard that not many people liked her singing as Ikaros on Heaven's Lost Property, but I thought it was pretty good.

I also heard that people didn't like her as Ikaros in general, stating she wasn't "monotone" enough, so I'm taking those criticisms with a grain of salt.

Really? That’s strange to hear because I thought that she did a great job being monotone for that character while also emoting enough when the scene calls for it. Never have I heard this complaint before, so forgive me if I’m scratching my head over this.

I didn't even know Juli Erickson retired from voice acting (as of just yesterday apparently). I wish her and her husband well.

Character recasts are controversial. However, it's likely to be less controversial when it's a minor supporting character.

I'm surprised Tyler Walker isn't directing since he did for the rest of it. Kyle was an engineer on Fairy Tail, but it's odd not to finish it.
