Better late than never xD Guess since they finally announced this they probabaly gonna pick up Railgun S3 and accelerator S1 next year too. Im really happy this didn't turn out as one of those license issues.

How can you prefer the dub? I can understand liking dubs but this is one of the factually worse dubs out there. They outright pronounce a lot of names completely wrong. Like they pronounce "Misaka" as "Mee-suck-uh".It's just a bad dub plain and simple.

Those both got scooped up due to exclusivity deals, and neither are as big as Index. If this was on Noitamina or Animeism, it'd be a different story, but Funimation was always able to get the rights for this.

Just because its your opinion doesnt mean we all think its a bad dub. I like the dub. Besides if you really dislike the dub so much why do you bother to reply here and not in the same post for crunchyrol?
Personally i like the dub of Index a lot. If you wanna hear a bad dub go watch AICO on netflix, that is called a bad dub.
i think its always funny when people say subs are always better then dubs. Most of them cant understand a word Japanese...

Holy crap you are right. I just checked it, now i can finally watch it xD. I actually reached out to netflix customer-service about it and complained. Guess a lot people complained like me xD.

all I did was state my opinion, sure they pronounce some names wrong but I liked the voices, solusod is great as Touma

I was starting to think they were going to push it back to the upcoming tamer winter season. Funimation's has done it again by simuldubbing all the anime I care about.

Kind of figured it was only a matter of time. If someone else had licensed it, I doubt they would have waited to say so.

That is very interesting. Several companies have forayed into the anime market with the attitude of, "We're a big entertainment company. We don't have to care about what anime fans think" and then ended up bailing when that didn't work. It's not like Netflix can't afford to do decent dubs, and has done so before, so it was pretty concerning to see them cheap out with the predictable results.
