Get that license back. Best Lupin series deserves to be witnessed.

I'm sure Discotek is already on the phone ready to scoop up the license.

I'm so used to Discotek having everything Lupin related these days, I was all "Whaa? Funimation had that one...?" I will not be surprised if that happens.

Aaaaaand you're on the clock, Discotek.

Also, please license that Goemon movie Koike made.

TMS has really been taking back their licenses lately. First Case Closed and Kenichi, now this.

I'd keep my eye on Kamisama Kiss if I were you.

If Discotek gets it I hope there's new extras made to make up for the half-assed job FUNi did in that area.

On the topic of TMS titles expiring recently, that's five now with KenIchi & Case Closed last Spring and Nozomi's licenses for Rose of Versailles & Cobra in June and August. If this pattern continues, the next likely to go are Cat's Eye and season 1 of Kamisama Kiss (assuming FUNi's license for that is separate from season 2).

Ya I'm gonna go with Disco getting this as well. It's weird to think of them not having a Lupin liscense.

I've been holding off on getting it. Part of me wants to wait for Discotek to rerelease it, but not knowing if they will, I probably grab Funi's before they go out of stock.

Funny for it being "best lupin series" and having Fujiko's name in the title.

How long do you think Discotek will have the rights to Magic Knight Rayearth?

Disco is one of my favorite distributors in that their discs are all real high quality and have tons of extras, so if they do get it I'd assume they'll do it right.

It really feels like they didn't have the license for this one for a very long time, huh?

This feels like it will be picked up by Discotek. I however wonder why was this license so short lived. I hope Discotek doesn't run into the same issue.
