Hell yeah! I was starting to get worried about this project being canned because we hadn't heard from it in a while. Excellent news indeed. With this and today's announcement of Double Decker Fall is starting to look more promising

A little disappointed for the trailer. I was expecting something like Steins;Gate, too much action for me.

Is a human actually suppose to be able to pronounce the title of this anime?

It looks like it could be good, though a bit overproduced if you get what I mean. These brand new studios should ideally not be so ambitious on their first show, unless of course they've got some really good industry professionals behind them.

I guess Yoshitoshi Abe learned a new style.

Let's see...
1. Random capitalization of semi-gibberish title. 2. The guy at the beginning who I assume is the "bad guy" sounds completely ridiculous and impossible to take seriously, more suited to a comedy/parody than anything else. 3. 2D animation looks pretty cheap. Since trailers generally highlight the best animation, that's not a great sign. 4. 3DCG vehicles look okay I guess. 5. Yoshitoshi Abe's designs look very generic here. Prediction: Will be a completely generic mess that's forgotten almost immediately after it airs. I could be wrong, but I'd be surprised if I was. |

Then we have series like "Steins;Gate" that have random semicolons. |

I mean I expect it to be full of cliches, bad writing, and off-model animation. But who knows, I could be wrong. It might be bad enough to stand out. And what's the point of getting Yoshitoshi Abe as character designer is you're going to use completely generic designs? Would anyone have guessed that he did the character design if they weren't told? It's not that he changed his style; the promo art is a change in style. The designs in the show have no style. Completely bland. There's nothing that distinguishes them in any way. I expect this show to have all the popularity of Juushinki Pandora, and be just as memorable.

Maybe he didn't think they were generic, how well they look is down to taste They are probably the designs that he thought best suited the style of the show. The female characters do have those same eyes he likes to draw.

So CR has made an official preview video of it on their channel. Not sure if this a confirmation if they got it or not.[/url] |

his art is still the same, I'm sure this anime has a different character designer adapting his designs. |

I'm assuming Geek Toys is not exactly flush with funds right off the bat…
I really hope the story is strong, as that can overcome quite a lot, and the plot does seem like a good launching point, but it looks like it has its work cut out for it… |
