I actually saw an Orochi in person on my last trip to Japan two years ago.

Listed as #8 in the Top Ten Ugliest Supercars Ever Designed. Also, looks too reminiscent of Roger Smith's sport car in The Big O. Basically it looks like a bad copy of a Jaguar XJ-220, which is a siren of beauty in car design.

Somehow I'm not surprised it's the official car of Satan

I don't know, I kind of like the sheer audacity of it, the same way I enjoy a completely over-designed giant robot.

Amazon.co.jp is currently selling it for ¥22,474 ($206) and that is... surprisingly cheap for an initial JP box set releases with lots of limited edition extras.
In any case, it's an Aniplex anime production, an Aniplex hosted event, Aniplex exclusive merchadise (just like the Puella Magica Madoka figures), Aniplex JP bluray set with English subtitles with extra goodies, so I think we know what to expect for the US release of Devilman Crybaby

...So a car I can’t afford and wouldn’t want, as opposed to Violence Jack.
Sure, why not?

I think if I had noticed more about Ryo's car, I could've figured out he was Satan REALLY early on. Those demonic headlights should've been on the real car...

Wow, I'm sure that car cost a pretty penny. But nothing more than a collectible that someone with money will buy and only show off when the time comes.
